Hi, I’m Chiara — the founder and maker behind Rag Doll, based in Austria.

My relationship with jewelry began in a very hands-on way. I started repairing and reshaping existing pieces, drawn to the precision of the work and the quiet satisfaction of transforming something with my own hands. What began as curiosity slowly evolved into a deeper creative language.

Rag Doll grew out of my desire to live and create on my own terms. In a world shaped by expectations, trends, and constant pressure to conform, it became important for me to remain the author of my own path. Through Rag Doll, I choose to build slowly, intentionally, and with integrity — prioritizing inner alignment over external noise.

The brand reflects values that guide both my work and my life: acting consciously instead of reactively, expressing instead of impressing, and creating jewelry that endures rather than contributes to disposable culture. Each piece is designed to support the wearer in expressing their inner world outwardly — a quiet reminder to stay anchored in oneself while moving through the world.

My creative process is a deeply intuitive journey for me. Creativity starts blossoming once my mind is switched off. There’s an unmistakeable magic in watching inspiration spark and transform into an idea, then suddenly take shape in my hands. In those moments, I lose track of time and become completely absorbed in the flow of creation, feeling both grounded and uplifted. It’s a state where intuition leads, possibilities feel endless, and the act of making becomes its own reward.

Each Rag Doll piece is meticulously hand-crafted with love by me in my little studio, using only high-quality, durable materials like stainless steel. I prioritize sourcing from within Europe to support local businesses and minimize environmental impact. Each item is created just for you, with the same care and passion that sparked this journey.
