International Duties and Taxes
All orders shipped outside the EU are sent DAP (Delivered at Place). This means you are the importer of record: any import taxes, duties or handling fees charged by your country are payable by you and are not included in the price at checkout. We're not able to calculate or cover these on your behalf.
United Kingdom
UK VAT (approx. 20%) and a courier handling fee will be charged upon delivery. No customs duties apply (EU origin).
Switzerland
Swiss import VAT of 8.1% applies to the total parcel value, including shipping. Swiss Post charges a customs clearance fee on top — currently CHF 13.00 plus 3% of the parcel value. Both are collected on delivery. Parcels below approximately CHF 62 including shipping are exempt: no import VAT, no clearance fee. No customs duties apply — Switzerland abolished tariffs on industrial goods in 2024.
Tip: registering for Swiss Post's "Meine Sendungen" service gets you CHF 1.50 off the clearance fee and lets you pay online instead of at the door.
Refused or unclaimed parcels
If a parcel is refused or the import charges are left unpaid, it will be returned to us or disposed of by customs. In that case we can refund the value of the goods, but not the original shipping cost or any charges already incurred.
